At long last an apology and fans exonerated, yesterday was an emotional day, my thoughts are with the families affected by Hillsborough

"POLICE DID NOT RESPOND TO PEOPLE'S PLEAS TO STOP THE MATCH OR OPEN THE GATE"

I feel so angry that my statement has been tampered with or edited to suit their cover up.

I've also noticed that they've deleted the answers which told them I was taken to the Northern General in one of their vans (because there were not enough ambulances) and the replies about my injuries and subsequent treatment.

I was going to ask about "adverse comment" bit - at first I thought it was part of the cover-up, but then wondered if it was simply a case of more criticism levelled at the police being highlighted. Sorry for my naivety - what do you think?

Don't know Sean, emotions are still running wild so I am possibly over-sensitive right now mate.

I've also found my evidence from the Coroner's inquest (Popper) from January 1991 - pages 12 to 28:

My marriage was falling apart at the time of the inquest mainly as a consequence of Hillsborough and the demons I was fighting. Looking back I don't know how I managed to stay in control when inside my head all I wanted to do was shout and scream at everybody.

That is absolutely terrible. I can't even imagine what reading that again must be like.

I haven't got round to reading the report yet but I fully intend on doing so. My Dad was at Hillsborough in the central pens. Fortunately he came home but his best mate didn't - my Uncle Dave.

The 'Sieze' request on anyone who still had their Tickets seems odd. Am I reading too much into it is it possibly them wanting to sieze as many tickets to swell the 'ticketless' fan numbers?

I think you're right, that's the only reason I can think of too.

Lady on TalkSport at the moment who is absolutely brilliant.

She's been on for about five minutes now and really making it clear about what a gutter rag The Sun is. I'm quite shocked they didn't cut her off but she was fantastic. Mick Quinn and Jason Cundy completely agreed with her.

Halfway through this now - page 20. It's unbelievable stuff, my heart's pounding just reading it. I can't get close to imagining how all this is making you feel.

I have been a way from any types of news for the last couple of days.....

I am so happy that the truth has finally come out. Its a fantastic acheivement for all who have campaigned for this

Now we will finally have justice for the 96.

My thoughts are for all of the families and friends of the 96 they must be going through a rollercoaster of emotions at the moment and unfortunately it will continue for sometime to come. I sincerely hope they all come through this ok

Halfway through this now - page 20. It's unbelievable stuff, my heart's pounding just reading it. I can't get close to imagining how all this is making you feel.

Fairly calm today to be honest. I took the day off and found it quite cathartic to read through some of the documents even if at times it appears as though there has been some doctoring of the evidence.

I think "adverse comment" is clearly a coding element.

Not sure what that is but it made it more difficult to copy and paste!

I read that this morning on the subway into work. I don't usually get the paper (being all tech-savvy now and getting news from the internet), but caught the headline above the fold as I walked past a deli and decided to buy the paper. I wasn't there that day, but I did see it all on tv and will not forget those images as long as I live. Reading the article this morning, I was welling up in the midst of a crowded train car. An odd sight, to see a grown man on the verge of tears in the middle of morning rush hour.

I have to say, to all those who stood strong over the last 23 years, fought against the mockery and criticism, and never wavered from their pursuit for justice - you have demonstrated what it means to be courageous, to remain true to your convictions, and to be Liverpool fans. You will never walk alone.
