Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."

The whole thing reads like the plot of a movie that reviewers hammer for being totally unrealistic. It's absolutely sickening and what makes it worse is that, being almost quarter of a century later, it's probably likely that the punishment for such a perverse act by all involved will be a slap on the wrist.A lot of people run a race to see who is fastest. I run to see who has the most guts, who can punish himself into exhausting pace, and then at the end, punish himself even more.

Truly appalling. When I was interviewed by West Midlands police as part of the investigation in the aftermath I couldn't believe how many of their questions were leading me towards saying we were drunk. Of course I soon realised it was all part of the police's attempt to defect the blame and a general smear campaign. Sadly it worked for over 23 years and only recently I had to re-educate a normally decent bloke that those headlines were all part of the fabrication of lies and the police and media smokescreen.Originally posted by Chazza1978 View PostRob Harris @RobHarris 11s

As one of the 766 official survivors of the tragedy I should be 'celebrating' after finally receiving an apology and the publication of the real truth today. However, I'm just numb and every report on TV and the radio just brings back all those harrowing personal memories. I hope one day the survivors - and more importantly the families of the 96 - get some closure but I fear there is still a long way to go and today is just the start of the next chapter.
