Ok, thanks for clarifying. I hadn't noticed it but I tend not to read comment pieces about football.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.

Thanks for all the posts today, and everyone else that's kept updating the thread with the important info of the day, and what the important people of the day have had to say.
It's been emotional, but momentous.

Must be so difficult for a Journo like him to stay on topic, via the paper/social media, in such an important, media profile position.

Just been on the skynews site reading some of the comments and it is clear that some peoples minds will not be chaged no matter what happens.
Stuff like "The police were wrong for covering their errors up but it was plain too see that there were fans without tickets that got in the ground ect ect"
"Liverpool fans need to accept their part in this as some fans had no tickets and it was like a scrum getting in"
There truly is some horrible ****ers out there.Last edited by Leyton388; 12-09-12, 09:42 PM.

It's unbelievable that so many people have such delusional confidence in their own 'opinions'. Where's their evidence? They must get it from the Super Soaraway Sun. There's hundreds of pages of incontrovertible stuff out there as of today yet these ignorant cunts just peddle their bile regardless. If it wasn't so serious it'd be laughable.Originally posted by Leyton388 View PostJust beenon the skynews site reading some of the comments and it is clear that some peoples minds will not be chaged no matter what happens.

Mick Jones out in Liverpool tonight with Pete Wylie, Pete Hooton and the rest of the Farm, John Power, Tony Barrett, Steve Rotheram, Andy Burnham, Andy Hunter of the Guardian and David Conn. I tweeted a thank you to Mick via Pete Wylie and Keith Mullin from the Farm saying he fought the law but this time the law didn't win. This was Keith's reply: "We just spoke about using all our music in a positive way, Mick said this is what The Clash were about".Originally posted by Shaggy View PostDavid Conn being an absolute hero on LFCTV. Very eloquent. His work has been fantastic, he deserves huge respect and gratitude. There is a light that never goes out. RIP Alan "Mally" Johnston and the 96. YNWA.

Pretty much all those people were on LFCTV this evening - they all spoke brilliantly. They've done great work - I hope they have a good night out
