Just beenon the skynews site reading some of the comments and it is clear that some peoples minds will not be chaged no matter what happens.

Stuff like "The police were wrong for covering their errors up but it was plain too see that there were fans without tickets that got i the ground ect ect"

"Liverpool fans need to accept their part in this as some fans had no tickets and it was like a scrum getting in"

There truly is some horrible ****ers out there.

Been on a couple of sites today and it's just out and out cunts trolling. Saying much the same as is on the Sky website.

Absolute ****ing arseholes that despite of everything that came out via Lord Justice Taylor and now todays reports they're still trying to lay the blame at the fans door.

Momentous day, a day I never expected and the truth more shocking than I ever imagined. In one sense closure, in another new wounds with so many potentially saved - the pride I felt in Britain during and following the Olympics has been severely dented by the unveiling of a cover up we all knew about but that is so much worse than expected - 164 statements altered in order to over up a horrendous **** up and point the finger at the fans - shocking, ****ing shocking and an absolute disgrace.

It's unbelievable that so many people have such delusional confidence in their own 'opinions'. Where's their evidence? They must get it from the Super Soaraway Sun. There's hundreds of pages of incontrovertible stuff out there as of today yet these ignorant cunts just peddle their bile regardless. If it wasn't so serious it'd be laughable.

the slurs and lies that were told have today been proven to be that as the truth is now out there for all too see. Anyone who doesn't accept that is not worth the time of day.

I am going to spend the weekend reading the report when i get a copy of it. People such as Cohen will continue to spill their bile as it suits their agenda's. Leave them too it for all i care as the truth is now out and the fight for justice will continue.

MacKenzie, Cohen, Patnick, and all those who have and continue to smear, the nation is absorbing the Hillsborough report like sponges. Their time will come.

Right now, we should appreciate the triumph of love, humility, dignity and truth over evil and use that as momentum to push on. The families' strength has been so admirable, it gives me a glimmer of hope for this evil infested planet. They've been a beacon of light admist the darkness, fighting against powers and principalities who have used every trick under the book and ultimately failed against the love parents, brothers, sisters, husbands, wives, sons and daughters.

What a day. RIP 96. We're almost there.

I know a survivor who still can't talk about events to this day so god knows what the families are going through.

A very emotional day for all. I feared another white wash but thankfully not.

It is stating the obvious but the dignity and resolve of the families has been immense.

A word for the survivors-the sometimes forgotten victims-you guys were the real heroes of that day. The uneducated, tabloid obsessed ****wits out there who have always swallowed the S*ns bile have only just found that out, even though we have all known the real truth for years.

As for mackenzie, he can **** right off with his apology now. He is predictably hiding behind the misinformed defence but even if there had been one piece of truth in his editorial tone (and there wasn't!!), how despicable to air it within days when people were overcome with trauma and grief. For the sake of selling a few newspapers. It is depressing how low some people are prepared to sink.

He was on World Soccer Daily radio show but I am not sure if he is any longer.

He also used to do a phone-in show on Fox Soccer Channel until he got booted off.

I'm really sorry that I tracked down his twitter feed as it has truly some of the most vile sickening hateful thoughts I have ever seen in print.
