Wow. That is sad. Along with Margaret Aspinall she has been a genuine inspiration. RIP Anne.

That’s really sad news that she didn’t get to see justice being served but at least she got to know the full truth of the horror that happened that day and exposed the lies that followed. Without her determination those lies might never have been exposed.
Kevin’s story is always one that hits hard; dying in the arms of a stranger while calling out for his mum……….I cant even begin to imagine how that must have made her feel.
I saw her on Monday and she looked so frail, but looking into her eyes I could see the fiery determination that has kept her going all of these years. She’ll always be a true inspiration for us all.
RIP AnneI know I'll often stop and think about them, In My Life, I love you more - 96

These are the words which Anne wanted to read out at Anfield last Monday. Unfortunately, she was never given the chance:
Thank you for allowing me to address you all today.
I would like to start by thanking the following people and organisations for all their help and support in my fight for justice.
I wouldn't have got this far without the support of the Hillsborough Working Party set up by Liverpool City Council to help the families, especially the six judicial review families.
Ann Adlington, who was placed by the council to help us. Sheila Coleman who independently supported us and introduced us to Edward Fitzgerald QC, who was prepared to take the cases on pro bono
Doctor Ian West, a top pathologist at Guys Hospital who presented reports for the families to submit ; Alan Jones QC, who looked after the judicial review and Liverpool City Council who paid all our expenses to go down to London.
Elkan Abrahamson, my solicitor who has stood by me for 19 years.
Pete Weatherby, my QC who has also worked with me for a number of years.
I am indebted to these people as they submitted all of their reports and drafts free of charge to allow me to go through the system.
We sadly lost John Glover recently. John worked so hard with the support of the Hillsborough Justice Campaign for his son's judicial review. Best wishes to all his family.
The Hillsborough Justice Campaign have helped many families and helped counsel many survivors. They backed me with my submissions to the Attorney General and the European Court of Human Rights and have campaigned very hard against the Scum newspaper.
I would like to thank everyone here today and around Merseyside and beyond for all your support down the years.
The belief you have in us has kept me going. I feel indebted to so many people.
Finally I would like to thank my brother Danny's wife Sandra and my wonderful family for looking after me over the last six months during my illness, along with everyone who has visited and shown me such kindness. Thank you.
