Again, defensive mistakes and we concede; Johnson needs to go through ball and player to stop Larrson (?) getting through at the second ask. Skrtel was too tight to Fletcher, who went, checked and went again, at which point Skrtel was on his arse.

We've tried all possible variations of our front three in different positions and still we struggle to come up with anything. We're reliant on our set-piece delivery and it's sad.

Sterling is our only threat and that's because of his pace and directness. Suarez has his head down and looks off the pace and Borini is full of running, but no one benefits from it.

Shelvey is having a poor game and is in no way linking the midfield and attack well enough, whilst Gerrard just looks lost. What can we do from our bench?

We need to put either Morgan or Ngoo on the bench in future as we need to be able to change things up front, at least those kids might have some confidence, at the moment Borini and Suarez don't even look as if they believe they could score.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

This team is so so bad. Just can't see us getting out of this predicament.
It's a prediction thread on a wish list.

In the past weve played players behind him to make up for his tactical / discipline defficiencies. Now weve no one to cover for stevies mistakes and are asking him to cover for shelveys mistakes of which there are plenty.

But shelveys a young lad with huge potential nd mistakes are part of the package with young players. you dont however expect such things from experienced pros.

You know we are in trouble when Shaggy starts to make some Rodgers videos to replace the Roy ones. Until that happens im trying not to panic.

If only Suarez had some help, i believe he thinks he as the only senior striker has to do everything himself. Imagine a Cavani or Llorente with him.

That was a penalty. Ok fair enough he looked for it (dont all teams have such players?) but once he went past the defender, there was contact.

For the ref to then give a yellow is a shocking decision.

It infuriates me when our supposed world-class players play like this. It just feels that they genuinely can't be arsed to work harder and produce the results they are capable of producing. Even if we've fallen relatively far from the halcyon days of the 70s and 80s, it's still a ****ing privilege to play for Liverpool. This kind of performance just baffles me.

He should be in the front three as far as I'm concerned.

For those of us that have had the pleasure of watching Uruguay when they play well (Ie not in the Olympics) Suarez is like Cavani's best mate, makes goals for him like there is no tomorrow.
