They where times when Liverpool struggled to penetrate Young Boys

Missed part of the first half and all of the second half because I was in class but chuffed with the win especially since the last thing I saw was Young Boys getting the first equaliser and thought we wouldn't score again!

Well that was entertaining stuff

Shelvey was magnificent when he came on, improved dramatically and so progressive. He is so far ahead of Henderson in the pecking order that i just can't see anything other than a squad place for hendo, did ok today nice assist but shocked some people have him in top 3 for MOM.

Thought Suso and Wisdom were excellent, Coates was good too but just doesn't get enough match practice. I worry about Sahin adapting to the pace of the premier, but he is a very talented gu and picked out some stunning passes. IMO Borini is raw and bit headless but to be fair to the lad, his movement and the postions he gets himself into are fantastic. Though Assaidi did well, faded a bit at latter stages but is positive and likes to take players on.

Downing,Carragher & Enrique were appalling. I really thought we had a winner at LB in Enrique, those first 9 or 10 games he looked a world beater but since then he has looked shocking. Defensive positioning is dire, looks like an awkward lummox trying out muscle people every tim and often falling on his arse, definitely not the answer for our LB issue. Also the way he sticks his big arse out trying to shield the ball around our box is infuriating.

Downing is one of the worst buys in the history of our club & Carra......well he is well and truly finished, such a liability any time he plays. The youngsters really showed up our experienced players tonight IMO, we do have some exciting players coming up which is such a breath of fresh air.

P.S. IMO Young Boys were excellent going forward had some tricky players, shocking at the back though.

exciting to see we have some talent coming through the ranks and we actually scored some goals!

Not going to get overly hungup about the defensive side of things as that back 5 aren't going to get much game time this season and certainly not as a unit in the league.

Downing has to be the worst transfer in the history of he game. Clubs have overspent before but not in the bracket of paying 20m for a 5m player.

**** him though. Ive had enough of his wastefulness. He's had plenty of chances but he shirks from any responsibility. Hope he gets slowly phased out (as seems to be happening).

Difficult to tell first game and all so probably lacking a bit of sharpness but I didn't think he looked especially quick.
