I just feel we lose so much when we shift Johnson to the left, He is an excellent attacking fullback. Didn't Shelvey play as a forward for Blackpool? On the left?

Enrique could be as strong as Hulk, he would still be no good. He was very, very clumsy yesterday.Originally posted by Tee View PostValencia is a beast and will be a real test for our LB. Maybe Enrique needs to be in for his physical strength? If not, Glen Johnson.* The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

Predicting Rodgers' line-ups is almost as boring as predicting Houllier's substitutions..
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.

No one want to see Sahin in?
His experience and calmness on the ball in the heat of the battle would be key IMO, but I think Shelvey will (probably deservedly) get the nod. It's difficult - Sahin is only going to get up to speed by playing but he still looks off the pace, despite being very tidy in possession. He was the fulcrum at Dortmund and he's not that (yet) for us. We need to get him up to speed ASAP as he'll be a massive asset for us when he's in full flow. Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

I like that. Sadly there's no way IMO Rodgers will move Gerrard into the front three. Big game required from SG on Sunday...it's madness really but he looks the least comfortable in Rodgers' system of all of our midfield players. Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

SG does look the weaker link at present but would Brendan have the goolies to drop him?

Sahin is awkward, I want to see him play more as you could see his class yesterday but he also looks a liability defensively and when someone like Kagawa is on the other team it's asking for trouble. Seemed like he almost got in Allen's way v Arsenal and no one ended up picking up Cazorla, wouldn't risk that on Sunday. I'd put Gerrard there, he's played some of these games with immense discipline over the years and we usually beat these by physically dominating them in CM.

If Sahin was fit I would start him but can't see him having the legs after playing last night. Against Arsenal the game sort of passed him by and we can't afford that against Utd.Originally posted by Shaggy View PostNo one want to see Sahin in?

As you say we need to get him upto speed quickly and I would expect him to start against West Brom and hopefully Norwich.
