i prefer good american bacon. it's important to find thick cut bacon, center cut if possible. applewood smoked is the best. and then not overdo it when cooking. make it a little crispy but leave some meat on it.

Its the crispiness I object to. Its very difficult to get the right consistency.

I haven't had bacon for ages - had a bad experience with undercooked bacon in a cafe in Newcastle last year.

I rarely bother watching MOTD/MOTD2 when we've lost anyway, but having Harry and Lawrenson on it is completely off putting.

Genuinely don't understand why the BBC still employ Lawrenson (apart from him having a contract, obviously). He's absolutely cringe-worthingly awful.
