Mancs Post Match

I havent really read the thread but here are my comments from the match. Apologies for any repetition
Firstly the tribute to the 96. Many mancs just stood there with folded arms. having said that the majority were applauding
Some manc fans were singing something like Where are the munich songs.....blatant goading.
Shelveys sending off was farcical to say the least. evans dived in with both feet and missed the ball competely. ferdinand and giggs along with evans theatrics got Shelvey sent off. Does anyone know what was said between Shelvey and the dunken bacon face cunt
Suarez should have had a cast iron penalty, historcally, he never gets them, even when they are as blatant as the one sunday
Their penalty was nothing short of a joke. No contact made at all, apart from valencia hitting the grass. He's just another in the long line of divers in the team and its not limited to their offensive players their back four are just as bad at theatrically thowing themselves down to win a free kick when defending. Diving wise the are rotten all over the pitch
Halsley, that has got to be worst referring performance I have ever witnessed. he should not be allowed to ref PL games. Apart from the 2 main calamities, there were numerous challenges the mancs got away with, with little or light punishment. He was truly shocking, to the point of being corrupt
I didnt leave the seats at the final whistle as I waited before going down to the Shankly bar. The mancs stated sing "Always the victims......" when the stadium was nearly empty. Cowarldy, lowlife cunts
Game wise, we made an average team look what they really are........average. But whilst they have the "assistance" they get every match they will continue to lead a charmed life
Finally, Monday morning a cabbie showed me a text message on his phone, apparently (if the timings are correct) the following applied if you added the total of the minutes and seconds to each other they all added up to 96;
Shelvey's sending off
Gerrards goal
mancs goal
mancs penalty
And respect to everyone who was there and supported the 96. My daughter laid some flowers at the memorial......Bless herLast edited by Assassin; 25-09-12, 09:45 AM.

Valencia did dive intimating that he was trippedOriginally posted by Shaggy View PostHuh? Why do you think it was a penalty? Valencia clearly dived.
Only thing Johnson's wrong about is that Valencia isn't ordinarily a diver. He's dived to win a penalty against us before.
but there was no contactOriginally posted by Captain Stu View PostHe was already halfway down but Johnson goes across him with his right foot instead of his left and catches him.
although he was pushed slightly in the back.Originally posted by Nigey View PostI thought Johnson's right arm was on Valencia's back and imo that's why Halsey gave the pen. Whether it was a def peno i'm not sure.
I think it's fair enough to give it for the push but Valencia absolutely acted like he was tripped. I'd happily be corrected if anyone's got slow-mo footage but I didn't see their feet come anywhere near each other

It is definitely a conflict of interests. I imagine it was no coincidence whatsoever. I know the refs aren't announced until 5 days or so (?) before the fixture but I bet Halsey knew. And I bet Ferguson has lots of refs at his little "charity dinners".Originally posted by Eric Swindler View PostIt's shocking. I can't believe folk aren't making more of it.Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

As Neville said on sunday, Johnson caught his right foot as he came around him before he even slid in. Add to that glen's right hand on his lower back/waist - you can see valencia's shirt become taut as it happens. That shows there was contact there too.
Perhaps Valencia was cute to sense it but if my ankle was tapped and then there was a hand pushing my back I'd be pretty retarded to not notice and not expect a challenge to come in. I'd then make the most of it to make sure I got a match winning penalty out of it (without flinging my head back and arms up in the air like our own diver). Its a bit lame to say it was never a penalty I think.
Some you win, some you lose.

I absolutely despair at the fact it has become accepted in the game and even among fans that "contact" is all that's required for a penalty to be given. What has this game become? Touching someone, putting your hand on someone's back, whatever, is not a foul. It is a contact sport. There was no foul by Johnson, none at all. Valencia dived, he cheated. He splayed his legs outwards in attempt to con the referee into thinking he'd somehow been fouled. And it worked. Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

It cannot be his feet - or his hip, but G. Johnsons hand makes a clear pressuremark in the right back/side of Valencias Tshirt. Could be enough for him to stumble.Originally posted by Nigey View PostThis is not conclusive at all. Look at Glen's hands.
BUT
Compared to Evans against Agger - and Evans against Suarez - this penalty is paperthin. So amazing biased....- - - - -
