suso doesnt need resting. he's young and hasnt played a great deal of games. if anything, he needs to play more.

as for downing, if he plays (and going by rodgers comments this week regarding attitude etc...id be surprised if he does) id expect to see assaidi be the one to drop out to accomodate.

      Like that lineup.

Would love to see Sahin again but I think Rodgers will save him for the weekend and Stoke match.

Antonio Di Natale and Maurizio Domizzi are in the Udinese squad travelling to Liverpool, but Dusan Basta misses out.

The Friulani will play at Anfield on Thursday in their Europa League group game.

Captain Di Natale returns after he was dropped for the 0-0 draw with Genoa on Sunday due to a row with an unnamed figure in the locker room.

Domizzi is also back after injury, but Basta is left behind due to a fitness problem.

Udinese squad for Liverpool: Brkic, Padelli, Pawlowski; Armero, Benatia, Berra, Coda, Danilo, Domizzi, Heurtaux, Pasquale; Badu, Faraoni, Lazzari, Pereyra, Pinzi, Willians; Fabbrini, Di Natale, Ranegie

I'm worried about burning Wisdom and Suso out. Do we have anyone to replace them?

I'm not sure if Suso will start this one but I expect him to be on the bench. Wisdom will be fine but our Brendan is very experienced with working with youth so I'm not concerned tbh.

Suso has only played a bit part role so far this season. In most games he hasn't played the full 90. He needs games, as does Sahin, who is still (by his own admission) short on match fitness.

Wisdom too. But if worst came to worst, we could play Robinson left back and switch Johnson back to the right - which I kind of think we should anyway

or Enrique may find his form or we try Downing there again. We've got options if we're playing the lesser sides really.

As long as Rodgers doesn't sign a brilliant new left back, I reckon Robinson will eventually become our starting left back for a long time to come. Enrique is too inconsistent and Robinson has all the raw attributes to be a success. More than Flanagan, Kelly or Wisdom in my opinion.

According to .no Rodgers confirms that Gerrard and Suarez will be involved against Udinese, Agger will be rested and Enrique is still not fit.

Suppose now we have three home games in a row and less travelling to do we can use a stronger team against a good Udinese side.
