See it's stupid comments like that from a bloke who should know better that says it all about the football in this country.

He dived, wow shock and horror it's part and parcel of the game these days its wrong of course but that is the way of it; refs are paid and paid handsomely to officiate games fairly and on decision by decision basis rather than reputations of players, if they're incapable of doing so they should be removed from their roles (see C.Foy) and perhaps the media and so called pundits should look at the roles they play in making ref's lives difficult to make these decisions by making monsters out of men.

Fed up to the back teeth now of the bull**** written about Suarez and his behaviour on the pitch, be amazing for football & the press to start focusing on players and people around it that are positives for it rather than always focusing and trying to find the negatives to sell their story of the day

    Rant over

One of the women at the party found part of a bright blue 10mg tablet of diazepam or Valium in the chocolate truffle topping of their ice-cream and another became drowsy and violently ill that night, the court had been told.
But Mr Davies said the prescription drug must have ended up in the dessert by accident, possibly shooting off when he split it with a pair of kitchen scissors, and that he had only entered one of the women's rooms to check on her.

I think I interpreted Hansen's comments very differently to you. That statement looks purely factual to me. It is clear to all of us that Suarez's reputation, fair or otherwise, is not helping us at all.

I can see your broader point about the media and referees but picking out fair comment to take exception too doesn't help the debate IMO.
