Where are the lads this week?

I just saw this & it saves us all wondering who's away in Int duty

Liverpool fans will be keeping their fingers crossed that 17 players heading off on international duty this week return without injury.

We have three representatives in Roy Hodgson's England squad as they ready themselves for World Cup qualifiers against San Marino and Poland - Steven Gerrard, Glen Johnson and potential debutant Jonjo Shelvey.

Fabio Borini will be on call for both Italy seniors and U21s. The former face Armenia and Denmark in World Cup qualifiers - the latter have a two-legged play-off against Sweden to navigate if they want to play in the next U21 Euros.

As well as a potential clash with Borini, Daniel Agger's Denmark also face a trip to Bulgaria, while Martin Skrtel should feature for Slovakia in their qualifiers against Latvia and Greece.

Spain face Belarus and France in their bid to reach the 2014 World Cup finals, and Pepe Reina is with them as usual.

Sebastian Coates and Luis Suarez will make the long trip to South America for qualifiers against Bolivia and Argentina, while Nuri Sahin is in the Turkey party for competitive games against Romania and Hungary.

Joe Allen faces a battle of Britain as Wales attempt to overcome Scotland and then Croatia, while Brad Jones is in the Australia squad to face Iraq as the sides continue their quest to reach Brazil in two years' time.

Oussama Assaidi could feature for Morocco against Mozambique in an Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.

Jordan Henderson, Andre Wisdom and Raheem Sterling are with England U21s for their two-legged Euro 2013 play-off with Serbia, while Samid Yesil will compete for Germany U19s in Euro qualifiers versus Macedonia, Luxembourg and Ireland.

Danny Wilson (Scotland U21s) and Peter Gulacsi (Hungary U21s) are on standby.
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

I was asking myself that very question this morning SuBo.

    I hate the international break.

On the up side, I think it's quite impressive how many international players we have.

The upside is that Sahin & Borini should get some game time. For Sahin especially, that's a good thing. Borini could do witha goal or two in the U21's for confidence.

Quite so, Jordan Henderson, Andre Wisdom, Robinson and Raheem Sterling are with the 21's, Shelvey, Johnson and Gerrard with the seniors, not counting Carroll and Kelly. Flanagan is unlucky not to get a chance, Downing and Cole will never get another one, still impressive group of England internationals.

That's not counting the younger players like Coady and Sinclair, are they not involved at their age groups?
              * The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

Samed Yesil scored twice as Germany U19s beat Luxembourg 5-0 this weekend.

The 18-year-old fired his second and third goals of the international break to help ensure the Germans maintained their 100 per cent start to Euro U19 Championship qualifying.

He has now scored an incredible 31 goals in 32 appearances for his country at youth level.

Elsewhere in U19 action, Ryan McLaughlin could feature for Northern Ireland on Monday when they take on Moldova.
