I think our youngsters are good enough to make us a great team going forward, we have some real talent in our ranks.

Shelvey, Sterling, Suso, Robinson, Wisdom, Morgan all of which have had a chance and there will be more that will get a crack.

United had a core of cracking youngsters come through and look how good they were, why can't we be the same? I see no reason to believe that these young lads will be great for us.

    The future is bright.
Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."

I guess he might adapt with more games but heading off to play with England can't help given Roy's tactics.
Agreed, I think its hard to argue with that really.

Especially the bit about Roy's tactics

Agree with this, we could have a fantastic team in a couple of years time if, and only if, Brendan is given time and patience to continue building and developing our style of play and players such as Sterling and Suso.

Here is yet another one coming out of the woodwork to give the officials a timely reminder Then he admits going down easily

                    ----------------------------------

Reading winger McAnuff wary of Suarez ahead of Liverpool clash

Jobi McAnuff has admitted he will be extra vigilant to the possibility of conceding penalties when Luis Suarez is running close by.

The Reading winger comes up against the Uruguayan, who has been at the centre of a dive storm after a comical fall against Stoke two weeks ago, and believes referee Roger East will pay the Liverpool striker close attention.

The Royals captain said: 'With any player in the box you have to be careful, probably more so with him (Suarez). There was an incident in the last game where there was no one near him. But I'm sure it's something the officials will be wary of.*

'There have been some instances with him, to be fair, that have been penalties that he hasn't got. And of course, on the other hand, there are instances that were dives.'

McAnuff thinks that some penalty appeals are not always one or the other, however.

'I'm a forward and sometimes it's not a penalty but it's not a dive. There is an in between,' he said.

'It's up to the referee to decide whether it's enough contact.

'You're going at such pace that it doesn't take a lot to knock you off your feet or to unbalance you. The referee might deem it's not enough to be a foul.

''I've had a couple this year that were in that category where some people might say I went down to easily. I don't think I did. We have to judge every decision

Is there a chance Adam Morgan could play? Hope he gets an opportunity.

Seen this side mentioned a few times on twitter today, possible if Reina doesn't make it.

Jones, Wisdom, Skrtel, Agger, Johnson, Allen, Gerrard, Sahin, Suso, Suarez, Sterling

I'm surprised anyone on twitter is game enough to suggest a starting side.

                            I know what you mean.

tbh though the side pretty much picks itself at the moment bar the gk

I'd genuinely prefer Shelvey in place of Gerrard for today after playing for England and being a bit off the pace anyway at the moment. Let him come on last 30 if its not going to plan.
