Obviously the result will please him.. There are positives to take from the game but since we're progressing we need to improve on the negative IMO. We've seen countless games like today over the past 2 years or so and we've walked away with a point a lot of the time

We are slightly lucky Reading didn't put in a single good cross and that Jones played well above what most thought he could (me included)

Jones not only made more saves in one game than reina has all season, he also looked comfortable knocking the ball about.

We dominated first half without testing their keep enough and then second half the game was so open. Last season we had slightly less control of games but created more chances. Yet also suffered from being too open. Its a struggle when it should be comfortable.

Squeaky bum time at the end. I spent most of the time telling Barry Horne to **** off. How does this ****e get commentary games. The comments he made about the crowd were disgraceful.

Sterling was a constant threat and linked up well with Suarez, who's finishing was absolutely woeful today. Luis didn't have his best game but he's such a threat. Suso was quiet and needs to start demanding the ball. He likes to hold the ball this lad, but sometimes, when we are on the counter attack, he needs to release it quicker. Sahin got into some good positions in the box but was never picked out. Thought our midfield failed to get control of the game in the last 20 and we were creaking for sure. Can't believe how many times we gave them possession cheaply towards the end. Surely Rodgers will be fuming with that. Thought Wisdom had a tough day, most of their attacks came down his flank. Enrique was brilliant when he came on!

Still, we've played better and lost this season, so the points are the most important.

If we had a finisher it would be much easier. The chances we squandered today were criminal. Would love Shane Long in January, a true fox in the box.

don't know why we didn't have morgan or yessil on as subs ....the hope is they make the same impact as owen or fowler

Think we need to trust Rodgers' judgement on this mate. He clearly can't think they're ready or they'd be on the bench at the very least.

Over the Moon for Raheem getting his first league goal. That's the only thing he has really lacked this season.

removing all the weak links makes us stronger

Totally. Very calm in front of goal. Lovely finish from him again today. Got into a position to take advantage of a deflection by taking a risk. The type of player we simply don't have. Not a creator like Suarez for sure, but would have eaten up some of those chances today. Another plus is his pace, which he showed against us.
