Sterling is dynamite. Suarez and Gerrard have both been pretty disappointing tonight.

In fact Suarez has been really annoying tonight.

I think the problems with Suarez tonight are always part of his game.

I think Gerrard did the job he was asked to do for at least 70 minutes really well. He was part of the problem alongside Suarez late on where we let the game get stretched and lost control. The way we play (and with a lack of goal threat in the team) we can't let that happen as often as we have this season and be successful.

Sterling, Wisdom and Assaidi had really good games. Agger and Skrtel were also generally very good.

Downing needs to learn to pass cross field more selectively (this is true when he plays in midfield too).
