Adam is making a good point. Enrique has had the ball in good positions to cross but there was no one to pass to. Same for Suarez, he got himself into excellent positions, crossed but no one was there to attack the ball.

Repeating patterns of play when we attack the box, surely it's possible to get our midfielders in good positions in the box without conceding too much space behind if we ever lose the ball. We're not good in the final pass and have been for years. That has been our main problem.

Regarding the Coloccini-Suarez incident, how does that could as Coloccini winning the ball? Suarez won the ball and it hit Coloccini afterwards, the challenge Coloccini made didn't win the ball, the ball could have gone anywhere.

Why is that a particular requirement of 4-3-3? With the ability of a striker to drop off, and the lack of numbers in the middle, it's surely less important than with 4-4-2.
