Most of Kenny/Commoli's dross is still on the books and holding us back. We're playing with a load of kids because the squad is thin. With proper backing, not break even sell to buy stuff that we had when he arrived, then we'd be progressing much more quickly. When we have the right players, we'll have the right results.

Until we get some strikers in the jan window then we're going to have a fair few frustrated games like this unfortunatly.we're a decent side but lightweight up front without Suarez.

I dunno, feeling encouraged by that result. I think we should have gotten a second and deserved goal; we were all over them for most of the second half. Nevertheless, defence was composed... Enrique was the poorest of the lot but the other three were just fine. Thought Suarez was brilliant obviously and I thought Sterling was great as well. Midfield needs a rest though. I don't think Allen should play midweek. He's making all kinds of mistakes, and it's very, very probably down to fatigue. Can't wait for Lucas to come back. Think our midfield will rise to its potential once he's back in.

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I thought Enrique was better than Wisdom personally.

His assist for the Suarez goal was fantastic. His biggest problem is he's inconsistent - seems to suffer some terrible lapses of concentration. Saying that, he's ****ing hard to beat in a 1 on 1.

Also, we should appreciate that he's really not played that much football this season. It was a poor performance, but I don't think he deserves as much stick as he seems to be getting. Every player needs time to get that match sharpness.

Rodgers clearly doesn't rate him though, so chances are he'll be gone by the time next year.

Our biggest problem is our lack of creativity and imagination through the side. When Barca have the ball, practically every player is a threat. For us, I reckon the opposition would be quite happy to see anyone have the ball, bar Suarez, Gerrard and Sterling. It's undermining our system a litttle bit because the opponents know exactly who to press and harry.

The more transfer windows we go through, hopefully the more technical, imaginative players we'll see brought in. Because right now, we're woefully lacking in that department.

I think we deserved to win overall...good start...**** middle...strong finish! We made more than enough chances to win the game but didnt take our chances...shelvey had the best 2! A proper CF is desperately needed and another wide forward/winger...that way we can rotate/rest suso/sterling and not over use them so early in their careers.

Think we competed for 2nd balls a bit better today...were **** at it last week.

We really need to work on our corners/set pieces...they pose no danger to opposition teams...especially when they dont clear the first man!

                        Anyways...onwards and upwards
Hope we get a real good january window!

We did that all last season, it didn't work.
