          Very tough game.

Would love to see us go for a win but I got the feeling that Rodgers will set things up in hopes of getting a draw and staying undefeated.

A win in this one and a draw in the Everton v Arse game would put us right back in the picture for forth place.

We had so many chances this year (just like the last year) to close the gap against much weaker opposition and we didn't do that and to go to WHL and get a win there will be a very difficult task to say at least.

I won't get my hopes up but as long as we don't lose it'd be good.

Good to talk of CL positions this close to Xmas. But lest we forget were still trying to bed in a new manager and style of play with effectively our reserves. I think we'll win but I won't be at throats should we not.

I'll try posting this in the correct thread.

I never really look forward to playing this lot as most of my mates are Spurs fans. Seems a while since we last beat them too. When was it?

Think this will be a close game. Tottenhams defence have been fairly poor this season, and if we can get Suarez firing in the game we stand a good chance IMO.

Main threat will be the speed of the Spurs side, could be a real challenge for our midfield in terms of getting back. We have had our problems when countered, so should be interesting to see how we handle them today.

I reckon a draw is on the cards.

                        We'll play defensively for sure.

Recent form at WHL doesn’t real well.

Our last win was in 2008 when Voronin scored.

Spurs haven’t been great under AVB, so could go either way, hard to call.

Was it the season after that when we absolutely played them off the park in the pouring rain but just could not score. And then right at the death Pavlechenko scored. That was still one of my favourite performances from us; we really were so good that day (apart from losing ).

Yes. That was the season where we nearly won the title. Tottenham were only 1 of two teams to beat us in the league that season
