Tough game. But so is Chelsea away and we got a draw there. Hopefully the luck goes in our favour and if it does, no reason to think we can't get a positive result.

We are very hard to beat with our first choice team at present, so no need to be negative.
      Forwards.......

their left side can be quite weak. bale doesnt track back and i dont think they have an established left back currently. exploit it

we wont be found out by their pacey counter attack.

          will we..
removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

thats what i was getting at.

if they score first we will have to push up higher and attack. when we do that, we leave open big gaps down the middle and spurs have the pace on the counter to rip us to pieces.

            and thats my worry.

look this forum is for people to come on and voice their opinions. I love liverpool just like you and the rest of these lads but we look at things differently.

i dont think rodgers has done enough to convince us that he's the right man for the job. plenty of us were sceptical when he was appointed but got behind him like me. some of us are still not convinced but we want him to succeed and take the team forward.

If you think he's the right man for us thats great for you, but others like me need more convincing.

But yeah, once i get my FA level 1 im going to send a CV in with a 900 page powerpoint presentation.

The formation is also a complex one to implement as a block as you lose fluidity in passing the ball if you're too compact.
so is that a system fault or a player fault ?

Players not adapting to it. Most systems require adaptation, I don't think there's anything wrong with any of them. The more flexible and adaptable to more than 1 system the better, and it seems we're doing that with Rodgers.
                  Are we winning?

And you Nige? Are you a system fault?
                    .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

I never really look forward to playing this lot as most of my mates are Spurs fans. Seems a while since we last beat them too. When was it?
We haven't won in last 5 games away at WHL.

                        We're due a win then. I don't think it'll happen, mind.
                        Oh I don't know.

I would have Shelvey or Sahin ahead of Henderson.

I'd drop Gerrard for either of them.
