what? had we taken our chances it would have been at least 2-2 after 20 min.Originally posted by Daniel 7 View PostSpurs did a Rafa on us at the start, massively quick out of the blocks, huge tempo and wer were caught flat footed, one paced and dazed.
Out thought and out gunned. We looked pedestrian and the game was lost after 15 minutes.
we can't score, even miss open goals, that's our problem.

Did you see how we played away at Spurs last year? Or worse the horror show away at Bolton. That Bolton game was the worst Liverpool performance I can remember.Originally posted by Redpross View PostI'm sorry I've been trying to calm about things.....but how is this better than under King Kenny and Steve Clarke!!!!!
It's all bollocks......

Don't think we started slowly. We conceded a stupid goal on the counter once again but we were bossing it. Then the second goal was never a freekick. The better team lost today. Spurs were battered for 3/4 of the game.Originally posted by Kenneth View PostNot starting until half an hour cost us the game.
You could see where we're going with that performance. Bar the result, it epitomises Rodgers' style. Total control, patient passing and excellent pressing. We will get there once he's brought in his players, but the key will be on how well he buys. Let's hope it's not another disaster in the transfer market.
I'm really optimistic for the future now. We aren't letting our heads down and getting on with the work. Gutted about the result though. Are we winning?

I'd go with that, the experiments need to stop.Originally posted by souliv View PostRogers needs to have a serious look at the team , stop with the experiments and have a solid team with players in their correct positions including moving Gerrard forward or dropping him as it is not working.*Except Michael, who died.

I thought Dowd was ****in awful, Vergohten (sp) in the first half raked his studs down the back of Sterling and he didn't even have a word. Add in the Gerrard and Suarez pen calls and we got nothingOriginally posted by chadrtc View PostI thought we were the better side, Spurs and especially Bale and Dempsey are pretty dirty.
We got very little out of Phil Dowd yet again, whose evident personal dislike of Suarez continues to cloud his judgement when he refs our games.I make no apologies, this is me

Me too. I'm very optimistic and with Lucas coming back in the side it can only get better.
