    **** it...at the end of the day...we are ****.

Yes we tonight we kept the ball well, had harsh decisions against us, created loads of chances but couldn't take them, had more possession, unlucky to concede and blah blah...but lost...

But it's the same virtually every game, and it's a ****ing ****ty cliche, but the league doesn't lie....

    We are 12th....with only 3 wins from 14 games and 7 draws 4 losses.....that is ****ing ****e

Our next 3 league games are

    Southampton home
    West ham away
    Villa home

Three ****ing ****e teams, no two ways about it, ****e teams, potential relegation candidates,....on paper that should be three wins....certainly bit of bad luck two wins and a draw, 7 points

I tell you now.....we will only get four points....a win, draw and lose...not sure which order but that's what we will get.

We are ****ing ****...it's a results game, the performances might not be bad, almost great at times but we are not good enough to win games,

I'm not going to blame Rodgers, I actually think to be fair to him, he's almost got us playing some decent football, but we just do not have the quality and the strength in depth required to even be a top six side

And the one player we do have, Suarez, will ****ing go in the summer and I don't ****ing blame him

    Rant over
If we get more will you Shut the **** up ?

I'm not convinced that we're growing or developing at all. I can accept a **** season if there is some visible progress, but so far there hasn't been any. We're going backwards. Playing better football is subjective, I think we're much worse than we have been for as long as I can remember.

Hodgson's reign seemed like the ultimate low at the time, but have we really improved any since then?

our performances are consistently better than our results, which is a good sign, as when it's the other way round and you know you are higher in the league than you should be, your good luck will eventually run out and you start getting the results you deserve. So will we.

Well, in terms of watching us yes.... i share 3 season tickets between me, dad, mum and uncle so I've been to about 6 games this season, and results aside, they've been "entertaining" games

I had one of the season ticket for every ga,e during hodgson, and I don't think there were six minutes, never 6 games of decent football

Anyway...really need to sleep, going to listen to some weird al yankovic to cheer me up as I drift off

I don't think our performances have improved. I think there are promising signs, but ultimately the little improvements are totally negated by our significant failings which haven't been addressed since Rafa left. We're disorganised and completely lacking up front. We have a reasonable first 11 who should be capable of achieving top 6, but we're heading for a position between 8th and 14th by the looks of things. It's all well and good to bring in a new philosophy and adapt the way we play, but ultimately we still need to win games!

We need to buy well. It's critical we do that.

Yes. Hodgson was the antithesis of everything a Liverpool manager should be, he basically disrespected the fans and the club every time he opened his mouth and was quite happy to discuss his admiration for our favourite opposition manager. The guy thought Poulson and Konchesky were appropriate purchases, almost bombed Agger out of the club for no reason, and blatantly had no idea whatsoever what he was supposed to be doing.

Whether results, performances even, have improved since then is only part of the story, in every other aspect we are miles better off under Rodgers than we were with the Bodge in charge.

Fixed. We played some diabolical football in Rafa's last season, this forum is littered with quotes from his staunchest supporters during and after games in that last season wondering whether it was time for him to go (whether or not they care to admit it now). Imo our squad was better then than it is now too.

I'm not so sure about that. I'm beginning to suspect that we over rate some of our players... lets face it, the guys in our team we like to regard as being world class (or close to it) have been underperforming for 4 seasons now and under 4 very different managers. This season our first XI has had 2 or even 3 completely untried kids in it almost every game, kids with bags of talent but no experience and whose form will inevitably fluctuate wildly. With them, a deteriorating Gerrard, no Lucas and a defence that's been shuffled about constantly because of injuries etc is our team really capable of top 6? Perhaps on a good day, with luck on our side etc they can compete with anyone, but on average over a season? Is our absolute first XI actually much better than say, Newcastle's? (who are below us).

Personally I still believe we'll comfortably end up in the top half of the table by May, though I think around 8th will be more likely that much higher... but I'm not at all convinced we should be finishing higher than that with the squad as it is without having an unusual run of good form and luck.

When Rafa took over we finished 4th the previous season and started building from a decent position. When Rodgers took over this summer, we were on a dreadful run of results and finished 8th last year.

Bar our CL win that season under Rafa we were mediocre. Remember the likes of Nunez, Mellor and some really dreadful performances?

I will say that we're already playing better under BR than under Rafa's first season. Rodgers is building differently. The emphasis is on fluidity and keeping the ball, within a system. I can see similarities in the way players took to get accustomed to a new system now to what it was back then but the difference is that we now play with more enterprise. Gerrard used to be our saviour that season whereas now it's Suarez

Things will improve but the pressure is on to win our next 3 league games now. We'll get there but it will take until maybe next year to see a consistent run of wins.
                                Are we winning?
