Thanjk you.

We play attractive attacking football. And Rodgers gives the youngsters a chance. Lets just hope we get some quality in in january.
Fingers crossed. I for one will be mightily disappointed and disillusioned if he is not backed in January. Having said that I hope his targets are not ****e (IMO) like Sturridge.

Best game I have seen Enrique play for probably a year & Lucas being back is like a £20m signing.

'Football is a simple game based on the giving and taking of passes, of controlling the ball and of making yourself available to receive a pass. It is terribly simple.'
Great we're not conceding lots and looking more solid at the back, brilliant that Lucas is back but we need to score.
1 goal a game and scraping through is not good, really hope we get a decent finisher in in January.

That's not what I meant. I didn't mean it wasn't 'exciting', and I don't deny lots of foreigners like it, but the standard is so piss poor it's untrue - evidenced by this game on now. United are one of two teams who will win the league and they are bobbins, routinely conceding 2s and 3s. City, despite spending £300m, aren't very good and can barely pick up a win against half-decent sides in Europe. It's the worst standard the Prem has seen for years.
I think the quality of the league is dictated by the performances of its top teams in Europe, not in games between each other.
Last year a premiership team won the Champions League, so the standard obviously isn't that bad. And English teams routinely do well in Europe's top club competition.
But despite me moaning on, I do get your point. The top teams of years gone by would obliterate this lot, even taking into account the upgrade of some of the lower placed sides.
