    West Ham Buildup

Thought I'd give these threads a go.

West Ham vs Liverpool (Upton Park). Sunday 4pm Kick-off. Sky TV.

Carroll has been injured, not sure if he'll be ready to face us. I know we're all hoping he is to give us a chance.

    My expected lineup:

    Reina
    Wisdom Skrtel Agger Johson
    Allen Lucas
    Gerrard Sahin Enrique
    Sterling
    One tit for another.

Then Shelvey will get sent off. We need deft touch and control in this game. Lucas, Allen and Sahin triangle is full of that.

I'm even beginning to wonder if Rodgers will go with three at the back instead (like against Stoke).

Carroll's not allowed to play against us anyway is he?
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

Isn't that just a gentlemen's agreement? The alternative would be Carlton Cole.

#LFC's flight being delayed last night means they stayed in Italy another night. Not ideal preparation for an away game in London on Sunday

This is massive. Win and we are guaranteed to have gained on at least one of Spurs/Everton and one of Arsenal/West Brom, we suddenly have a bit of momentum with two pretty nice home games after this. But we always seem to fail to win when this is the case, this will be a really tough game.

Don't like Fat Sam, don't rate him as a manager. But he always seems to be able to motivate his players for big games (except against his pal at Utd).
West Ham are a well drilled unit this year, seem both resilient at the back and capable of grabbing a few goals when they need them.

Tough game, and will need BR to come up with some equally compelling pre-match motivational speech to get our lads out of the blocks quickly. An early goal could rattle them and I'd fancy us to get 3 points and a couple of goals if we start high energy and press from the first whistle...

No reason we can't beat them other than Suarez missing. But on the positive side we've finally shown we can hold on to 1-0 leads in the last two games. We should be able to grab an early goal from Sterling/Gerrard/Enrique, after that revert to 3 at the back for the long balls and flood the midfield to negate any attempt at 'passing' through us.
                      One tit for another.

We 100% won't be winning this match lads. Sorry to say I'm going and I honestly can't remember the last time I watched us win live.

We won live last night, you should have watched it.

Or you should have gone to Udinese.

Tough game without our top player. Draw wouldn't be the end of the world tbh, but a win would be a fantastic result.
