Yeah that's a bit of a head-scratcher. Cole gives defenders a much harder time as a centre-forward compared to Carroll - at least the Carroll I've seen playing for us.

5 minutes was right. The extra time came from Reid faffing around when we were trying to take the freekick.

After 70 mins I was depressed but diame going off was the turning point for the game.

His arm was up, it's a penalty for me. I know it needed to be there, nothing Allen could do. But if an opposition player reacted like that on the line and stopped a goal, I know we'd all be livid if it wasn't a pen.

Seeing Joe Cole in the UEFA is a bit of a laugh, and we all quite enjoy seeing him score in an ironic way. Puffing about like a hungover hippo is amusing when it doesn't really matter. He was on his knees pretending to need to do his boots 10 minutes after coming on. He's useless. What the ****ing **** is Brendan thinking of? He's compromised energy from midfield, and thats about as much as you can expect from Downing.

Shelvey has been very poor this half, I'd take him off
