                    Do you have a kid? How difficult it is to cope depends on the baby & the mother. If Allen is taking a very modern hands on approach then he's got his work cut out and will get drained.

                    He might not be. He might just be suffering from being at a bigger club with greater pressure like Downing.

                    Personally, I like Joe as a player. He wouldn't fit every system but is perfect in the Rodgers system. I'm sure come the end of the season he'll have proved his worth as the link between defence & attack.

                          No surprise for me there really. One more creative forward passing and forward thinking midfielder made a massive difference. Allen is the most overrated player I can ever remember. The very epitome of a meh player IMO, just like Xavi and Iniesta.

                            Not Allen's greatest fan and he has been very poor, but to be fair Fulham's midfield was non existent and Gerrard and Lucas had all the time in the world and weren't closed down or pressed for the whole game.

                            Still though he should remain on the bench IMO, get some rest and hopefully get back to the player we seen in first 4 or 5 games.

                              He has not been "very poor", performances have dropped off and he needed a rest but then he wasn't the only one either.

                              I find it bewildering how some fans can constantly bash our players (not aimed at you btw) to score points

                                as I haven't bashed Allen at all.

                                But IMO apart from the first 5 games he really has been very poor. It's not abuse or player bashing it's just the truth as far as i'm concerned. Best for LFC and Joe Allen at the moment if he sits a few out and get's some rest.
