I forgot about Sahin doing his nose in lads, so I suppose that one makes sense and my nan of all people pointed out that Sterling came on as a side show, her words meaning he'd just signed his new contract and it gave him a chance to be cheered by the fans.

I wish I was as positive as some of you I can't help but think back to the Everton game, even now and thinking "****in ******* linesman"

We'd be 3 points off 4th I think there is good luck on the horizon though. If we play like that often we won't even need luck

I personally think we made it an easy win by our constant hard-work and pressing.

Even with the season that we had if we had won vs Aston Villa last week and if we had got all 3 points from Everton game we would have been in share of 3rd place atm

Fulham were poor BUT what was good was that we punished them for it.

Mate, that is exactly how I think about things. Going into that Villa game I'd have considered a draw a bad result.

The Shelvey sending off vs United and the pen of Valencia, we should have never lost that game either.

Hopefully January will help us out and turn some 'should have been's' into points.

The league, like ourselves is going to take a couple of years to take a proper shape again IMO.

Not sure about that. He needs a rest but he'll be back in the first team. We'll have to wait until Lucas is back to his best before we see Allen back to how he was playing at the start of the season.

I agree. I also think it will take a couple of seasons for our squad to take shape, and we've some serious talent coming through.

However, great game today!! Thought Gerrard and Agger were fantastic, and the team performance was briliant!!
