Yes, we played well and they played badly. I don't think one negates the other.Originally posted by Redspin View PostOr, just possibly, we made Fulham look bad. I know that seems outrageous but there must be a very slight chance that we actually played very well and deserved to win. There, I've said it.
My point was Fulham were terrible. Don't mistake that for criticism of Rodgers, the players or anyone else at LFC.
Although I thought the performance of the stewards was nothing better than ok. There, I've said it. No one can silence me, I say what I like, etc..
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.

Personally I don't think that's massively fair. You could just as easily ask whether not having Sterling in the team made the difference.Originally posted by Imy View PostI asked this earlier, how much did not having Allen in the team make a difference?
Allen or no I think we were always winning that one, we've been playing decently even in most games we've lost this season and Fulham were set up perfectly for us. As soon as the first one went in, even when Agger & Suarez did their ridiculous miss things, we always were going to be comfortable winners.I could not dig, I dared not rob:
Therefore I lied to please the mob.
Now all my lies are proved untrue
And I must face the men I slew.
What tale shall serve me here among
Mine angry and defrauded young?

The inestimable and irrepressible Bender is all over the site this morning yet strangely I haven't seen him in this thread.
