wide players need to be able to go both ways otherwise its all predictable.

Suso has to play centrally if he plays because he's capable of creating chances from there with his passing. Its very hard to be Good at incisive passing from out wide

Fullbacks provide width in our system not our 'wide' players. By going inside they do participate centrally as does Suso. Our system is fluid with a lot of movement which explains why we leave space in midfield.

If I had to change one thing in this system I'd stick another DM alongside Lucas and provide more balance.

I hate the way Sky were questioning if Suarez had to go down for the pen. It should be a clear cut pen whether he goes down or stays on his feet, but sadly refs won't give the decision if you stay on your feet.

This team selection is a big mistake,but seems to be the norm. Rodgers needs to get a grip,this team is slipping backwards at an alarming rate.

Think we have played well tbh. We've created chances and with better control both Suarez & Shelvey should be scoring. Both capable of better.

I think if the game carries in the same, we'll score. But obviously Stoke always a threat at set-pieces and will cause problems with their long balls due to the size & strength of their team.
