      Ah brilliant, if we lose I expect Rodgers to get ripped because he prepared the team. However, if we win Marsh and Pascoe will get the plaudits.

        You're putting forward a theory that Rodgers was undermined by the board but I simply don't believe your data is reliable and also I think your theory contradicts other data that is available. So either you need to explain why you're choosing to believe some data (e.g. stories that Dempsey wanted to come to us) and not others (e.g. his wife had recently got a new job in London) or you need a better theory.

        Without one of those, I think the idea that FSG pulled the rug from under Rodgers is unproven, and collapses under the weight of its own (flawed) assumptions.

                      Agree mate but the Manager wanted him. And in reality the team could have done better with the extra attacker.
