The Downing thing is a mystery to me. It really is.

Based on the latest games I think he deserves to start. We might as well take full benefit when he shows some sort of form. It is not like there is an abundance of players that have been great lately.

Why, he played has played well in recent games. So why not stick with him?

Fwiw I don't think he has been terrible this season. No where near the level we expect from a £20m player. But not as bad as some make out either.

The mystery is not him starting so much (although there is some of that too). He played well against Fulham, pretty awful against Stoke.

It's the fact that he's openly on sale. If he's not got a long term future, is he in the shop window? Is his replacement (Sturridge? Ince?) lined up? Why does he sometimes play at left back, or right wing?

Like I say, it's a mystery to me. I have no idea what's going on in Rodgers' head.

Agree, but if he is for sale, that implies we have ready made replacements waiting at left / right wing / midfield, and left back.

The QPR team is absolutely atrocious. It's ****, and I mean really ****.

Their XI is full of technically inferior players, so I'm expecting them to rough us up a bit in terms of pressing and harrassing us.
