I was optimistic after the Fulham game and we got done badly in the next one. So im better off being realistic and happy to be proved wrong.

First 30 were sensational but once they went to 3 at the back we didn't look anywhere near as threatening.

The second half was disappointing because we've seen that Liverpool too many times this season. We sat too deep and allowed them to dominate us.

nevertheless a win is a win.

Flmao, they did no such thing.

I really think some of our fans won't be happy unless we actually win 9-0 with a goal every 10 minutes. We destroyed them in the first half, they got a rocket at half time and had a bit of possession for a while in the second but we'd done everything we needed to do already.

You totally can't compare the second half to games we've seen earlier in the season because of a crucial difference; today we were already 3-0 up. The second half wasn't inspirational but it was perfectly professional and we still obviously could have upped gears again if needed.

Taarabt has some skills. Is it mentality that holds him back? He can look fantastic.

Very technical with tons of trickery but he is very inconsistent and tends to disappear for long stretches of the game.

Few flashy moments imo doesn't make him good enough to play at the club with the top expectations.

as with all creative players its a case of what they give you when you don't have the ball and taraabt doesn't look like he works hard enough.

And you can't expect to post "QPR will win easily" several times on a forum and have nobody point it out again when they do no such thing. Not trying to have a go mate but the we're not that good or that bad. We're a relatively decent young side with a weak squad in attack and an inexperienced manager. All these things are making us extremely inconsistent. Yes we can improve, significantly even, but excessive negativity is just as wrong as unrealistic positivity imo.

Its a pity. If he had a working mentality he could be something special.

were too inconsistent for any of us to be too optimistic. A win is a win but we need to replicate that performance and goals against teams higher up the league.

by the end of January we will know how this will fall.
