Henderson is alright when he's not scared of his own shadow. Kinda like Downing but young, so there is more hope there.

Downing is everyone's favourite player to hate, but he's very technically good. One word that strangely comes to mind is sleek.

        he can play those passes.

I've seen him do them often but firstly he needs to be played in central midfield and be given a run of games. Then I think we will see a different player.

But he's got everything in his locker to be a very good player.

His upright gait is very much reminiscent of Xabi

              Pascoe reveals extent of illnesses

Colin 'Colin' Pascoe has revealed details of the illnesses which hit the Liverpool camp ahead of their 3-0 win at Queens Park Rangers.

Pascoe deputised for Rodgers in the dugout for our final game of 2012, with the boss returning to Merseyside on Sunday morning on doctor's orders.

The Northern Irishman was too ill to make contact during the game, though he did pick the team.

His assistant Pascoe was also ill with a different ailment, and revealed afterwards that he too had been barred from the dressing room to prevent the players being struck down.

He said: "This morning, he [Rodgers] phoned me. I wasn't feeling very well myself, but he was worse than me!

"He didn't look so good, he was very, very white. We were in the hotel and he was ****ting and puking like a drunk incontinent. **** everywhere.

"All the preparation had been done for the match. Brendan picked the team. The presentations to the players were all set, I just did the presentations today. The driver had to take him [Brendan] back home.

"He wasn't in touch during the game - he's that bad!

"The way the medical team and the doctors isolated the players and the staff, they've been fantastic. Hopefully it's nipped in the bud and not too many players or staff will be affected by it."

On his own sickness, Pascoe added: "I made notes before, during and after and I gave them to Mike Marsh, who went in and gave instructions.

"I wasn't allowed in the dressing room!"

Henderson might be ok, have to admit I think he might be a player for us. He is a runner, but Alonso? Come on!

'Dominate' is a bit strong but so is calling it 'laughable' slight exaggerations all round

definitely but I've always said that hendo wasn't well treated. I would start a midfield trio of Lucas Allen and Henderson every game to firstly dominate possession in the middle of the pitch and then secondly to start pressing much higher up the pitch.

I think he's the tallest of the three and is good at set pieces. I like him a lot and if we hadn't signed Allen he should have started with Lucas in the two with Gerrard in his best role off Suarez.

As it is all three can play together because they're all mobile and intelligent. Any of them could make the runs forward imo.

Think we'll get a midfielder in the summer which will allow Gerrard to focus on attacking. Not sure it's going to be to the detriment of Henderson or another player.
