The pass was sensational. That side of Suarez's game doesn't get enough credit IMO.

I kept rewinding the pass. On a rainy skiddy day, for the ball to be hit on such a low trajectory and to bounce but still be in reaching distance. Unbelievable.

Sturridge showed a good turn of pace too, but there was only a 0.01% chance of the conditions being perfect for him to get anywhere near. Suarez hit that 0.01%.

Chelsea must be kicking themselves they sold him to us. He's fantastic and IMO is the best striker England have bar Rooney. The comparisons to Well**** are a joke.

So great to have him back! Wish we had him for the Christmas games, as his presence creates so much disturbance for the defence in his runs, shooting and passing. Would have been great for opening up Suarez a bit more against the really good defences of City and Chelsea.

He's good. Better than we had any right to expect. But he's not that good.

That said, he's the poacher we've been missing for years.

Torres (of old) and Suarez aren't poachers. They are much more than that.
