We are too passive about the title and winning it, forever stuck in rebuilding programmes. Well, I have said it before and I will keep harping on about it but the league title must become the absolute obsession for this club. We have to start building a momentum on and off the pitch and that must be our dream, our target every single season. It will only happen that way IMO.
Absolutely - **** this 4th place bollocks (I know, I know it's a means to get the £££$$$ in to enable us to compete etc but still)

Same here; I was 17 when we last won it - didn't even consider for a second that 21 years on I'd still be waiting to celebrate it again!

        I know, 21 years...

And I used to laugh at my Utd mates who had waited 26 years...we will do well to beat that tbh.

Make us dream FSG!! If not, find us the owners who will, I really could not give a **** about 'buying' the league, I just want us to win it.

Well, at least you don't know what its like. We had the taste, the glory and the swagger, you just feeding off our scraps.

Listening to him talk there, it feels as though he's caricaturing what the opposite of the real Daniel Sturridge should be like.

Was expecting a big headed angry take all the credit ****, and we got a politely spoken..thankfull for God...humble young man.

                  So far so good.

I got married during the 89/90 season. Such a long time ago, my son has been born, grown up and moved out

Think its mainly from his football people get that idea. He has a reputation for being selfish on the pitch. Maybe it makes people falsely judge his character as a result of that. You never really know till you meet someone.

yep. To be honest, even if its all a show and he's faking it, he knows what to say and that at least proves he's more intelligent than I gave him credit for.

His interview there was like the Anti-Torres, I thought it was funny. Torres saying he's joined a big club and then Sturridge saying this is the first big club he's played for. Brilliant.
