    Rotation is key.

Bobby was blowing out his arse for the last third of the season.

For me Sturridge always works better in a two up front. I just wonder how often we are going to play like that.

        Mig
        Clyne Matip Lovren Milner
        Henderson Weeji
        Salah Mane Coutinho
        Sturridge
Lallana starts ahead of Gini and Coutinho plays through the middle (althought they will interchange).

Still see us starting with Firmino ahead of Sturridge too.

I think Sturridge will start more at home, we struggled to break teams down this year due to lack of movement and pace, Firmino wasn't taking the chance or half chance he got a game and this really impacted on us. I cant remember what game it was but Sturridge came on this year at home, stuck on the defenders shoulder and within 3 minutes got a goal. He offers something none of the others do, none of them make a defender as nervous as he does.

When we play away from home and teams are more open, I expect Klopp to play Firmino, Coutinho, Mane and Salah and really press them to stop them playing.

He's speaking to LFC TV as I speak and he seems fine. He's happy.
              Are we winning?

He's just been on lfctv and said it's just fatigue and that he is ok. He said he is feeling great and the best he has felt for a while

The manager told his post-match press conference: “I can’t say yet [how bad the injury is].

“He hurt his thigh. He has really prepared well, really well, so I hope this is just a small injury and that he can play again soon.

“The goal was great and he had a chance just before that. You could see how fast he is.

                  “It’s a shame and I hope it’s nothing serious.”

What a wonderful goal, very reminiscent of the 13/14 season!

Once again showed that he can't be relied upon.

Wonderful goal followed by an apparent injury and substitution.

Feel for the lad but it's time to move on.

He seems to hold back at sprinting at his top pace exactly because of what happened last night. Apparently he's quick as ****.

I personally think we need a pacey striker for Coutinho to play through as another string to our bow. Love Firmino but he can have his off days and is also not the quickest.

i dont thimnk we need his pace if both Salah and Mane are on the pitch
                          Firminho manages.
Lets see how the season pans out. He is unlikely to be first choice and Solanke looks like he is ready for action. Different players all of them... but that give us a plan b and plan c. Variation is the key to getting past the parked bus.

He's looking fitter, slimmer and quicker than he has in years.

So it's absolutely typical he'd go and get himself injured.

Poor lad. Just praying it really is fatigue. He'll be a huge bonus for us if we can keep him fit for most of the season.

Spot on. I thought he looked quicker last night, not as pacy as he once was but faster than last year for sure.

IF his body holds out he'll be a great member of the squad - and if my chance he plays through the middle with Mane and Salah and starts banging them in... well he's a 20+ goals a season man, something I don't think Firmino is.

                              Big, massive if though.

I'd reckon we'd have to consider bids for him but there haven't been any and no surprises from me.

He's never a Klopp striker despite the injury but he's welcome to the bench if he can stay fit. I'm hoping we can get a hurrah season out of him if only so we can finally sell him on and replace with a more suitable striker next year.
