I really don't see the benefit for us in that. Its not like he's young and needs time to develop but we'll then use him in future. If he's not going to get minutes, then we just need to sell
Unless we get the loan fee, they dont buy and we sell elsewhere, then we get more ££?Originally posted by fah-qDidn't someone once see Philip Schofield ****ting into a crisp packet?

Ings should be the one loaned out, plenty of teams in our league seemed to want him then we have 5 months to see if he can do something for us or has to be sold. Sturridge might not do a lot right now but he won us the game v Huddersfield, played a big part in winning at Leicester and would no doubt contribute in one or two other games. Don't mind him going as such but if it's with no replacement again then it's just ****ing stupid.

Hes ****ing **** Chris. Dont kid yourself.
He offers us nothing and is probably our highest earner! When he's not injured, he's jogging around the pitch trying not to get injured again, ****ting out out of tackles, missing chances and generally being a mopey ****. Cant stand the sight of him.
Whats even wrong with him now BTW? He's just totally disappeared once again."When a man insults my country I insult him, by taking his woman" Tony Yeboah

He's better than Ings and Solanke, that's pretty much undeniable. He could win us a game, the other two are significantly less likely to. Ideally we get shut of him and replace him, but if we're losing a striker on loan then let's lose the one who's championship level or the kid who hasn't scored a goal for us.Trey Nyoni: countdown to stardom-2 years1year0.5 years

I imagine he official story is "slight injury" but the reality is we are actively trying to shift him this window so do not want to take the chance that he really does get injured and then cannot be moved on.Originally posted by Harv View Post

He may be a better player, but he's a much worse fit for the style Klopp have introduced. Sturridge doesn't have the work ethic, discipline or defensive ability that is required from a striker in our system. Ings and Solanke have shown much more in those areas than Sturridge ever have.Originally posted by Kenneth View PostHe's better than Ings and Solanke, that's pretty much undeniable. Daniel Sturridge could make Liverpool return as Inter move on hold
Reds striker has been stalling over an offer from the Serie A outfit

Daniel Sturridge could return to the Liverpool squad for Saturday’s FA Cup clash with West Brom at Anfield as the uncertainty over his future rumbles on.
The England striker looked destined to leave the club after Inter Milan tabled a loan offer which satisfied the Reds’ demands.
However, Sturridge is stalling over a move to the San Siro as he favours a switch to Sevilla. That isn’t currently an option with the La Liga outfit yet to follow up their initial interest with a serious offer.
If the current impasse continues then Jurgen Klopp is considering playing Sturridge against the Baggies in the fourth round tie.
The 28-year-old frontman didn’t travel with the squad for Monday’s shock defeat to Swansea City but has looked fit and sharp in training at Melwood this week. He’s desperate to play again having not featured since December 6 due to illness and a hamstring injury.
Sturridge, who has only made five starts in all competitions this season, informed Liverpool that he wanted to move on during the January window in order to secure the regular game time required to force his way into England’s World Cup plans.
Klopp doesn’t want to lose him but made it clear that he would be prepared to reluctantly sanction his exit if the right deal was on the table. In the absence of any club matching the Reds’ £30million valuation, they have recently been open to the idea of a temporary transfer on specific terms.
Inter met those requirements by offering to pay Liverpool a loan fee, understood to be in excess of £2million, as well as covering all of the player’s wages between now and May. It would be a loan with a view to a permanent deal rather than the Serie A club having a commitment to buy Sturridge in the summer.
With Liverpool not actively looking to lose Sturridge, the ball is in his court. If he doesn’t fancy joining Inter ahead of next Wednesday’s transfer deadline and if no other club matches Liverpool’s demands then he will stay at Anfield for the rest of the season and fight for his place.
Sturridge has scored 63 goals in 133 appearances for the club since his £12million move from Chelsea five years ago. He netted 24 times in the 2013/14 season when he struck up a deadly double act with Luis Suarez but since then he has been hampered by a succession of injuries.
Klopp must juggle his resources with Liverpool still competing on three fronts and he’s likely to make a number of changes for the FA Cup showdown with West Brom.
Roberto Firmino is firmly established as the club’s first choice striker but if Sturridge left, the Reds would only have Danny Ings and Dominic Solanke as back up - neither of whom have scored so far this term.
Ings has only made four substitute outings as he looks to put two serious knee injuries behind him, while rookie Solanke has yet to get off the mark in 18 appearances since his move from Chelsea.
Klopp has indicated that he’s prepared to wait until the summer to re-invest the proceeds from Philippe Coutinho’s £142million move to Barcelona.
Liverpool have dismissed reports that they have agreed personal terms with Monaco’s Thomas Lemar.
The Reds were keen on a deal for the France international last summer and he remains on their radar but Klopp believes the £90million asking price is excessive. There is no interest in Gremio’s Brazilian forward Luan.
