I was at the game last night and watched Sturridge quite a lot but also Klopps reaction to him and you could see Klopp getting frustrated with him.

When sturridge came off and went past klopp there was almost a mutual loathing, both turning away.
In klopps defence he was preparing the subs, but maybe a good excuse to blank poor old studge.

We did well to win again playing with 10 men.

Thank christ we only have 2 more games of watching this bloated corpse of a footballer sauntering around the pitch, with his **** flicks that rarely amount to anything but giving the ball away and starting a counter, or the constant dives trying to win a FK, which the ref never falls for and lead to a counter. Then the one thing he can still apparently do well comes to him on a silver platter from Gini.....and he skies it high and wide.

Why does he still play? He offers absolutely nothing. I think Klopp just gets a kick out of yelling at him for 90 minutes

Thought he was terrible. Few little passes here and there but he's so lazy. Work rate is ****e.

If the worst happens and both Bobby and Mo are out for the Barcelona game would you start Sturridge in a front three of Mane, Origi and Sturridge? That seems like the natural thing to do, but his last couple of performances are suggesting to me that I wouldn't. I think I would start Shaqiri instead, and as mad as it sounds I'd probably consider bringing Brewster off the bench for his debut ahead of him. Sturridge just seems to be offering nothing at the moment.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I hope we never start him again, he's been given chances but he's not produced, THAT strike against Chelsea aside, Wijnaldum did more in the role.

Second half he did improve but his lack of running and closing down sticks out like a sore thumb compared to the rest of the team

If we were 3-0 up I wouldn't start him.

The commentary I had for the game where sitting right behind Klopp and said he was just yelling at him to do more work all game. I’m sure if Mo hadn’t have got injured it would have been Sturridge who was taken off.

Shaq has to start in mid week if there is no Mo.

his movement is non existent, crazy decline.

His time is clearly coming to an end, and his body is incapable of handling full throttle games like last night. He still has some great touches though and played one outrageous pass in the first half and nice back heel at one point. (I was watching in pub so don’t recall exactly).

Scooping the ball 200m over the bar after the absolutely sublime build up to his big chance was unforgivable. What a goal that would have been.

He knows he's finished with us and doesn't want to injure himself before he gets his transfer to MLS or China in the summer.

Thought his backheel in the build up to Mo's goal was a nice touch, unfortunately he didn't contribute much else to the game. Still if his contribution here & his goal against Chelsea mean we win the league I don't think I'll be complaining.

He’s done ‘ enough’ to earn a winners medal but not enough to earn a new contract.
