He needs to do what I do, after doing my ligaments in for the third time...started to wear that ankle support that Murray used to endorse, can't remember the name, but it provides amazing support...have rolled it now and again since, but the support stops you from going over completely whilst still allowing full normal movement.

Have you tried standing on one leg with your eyes closed? It worked for me, I didn't roll an ankle again playing football.
Yes, I know (a) it sounds stupid and (b) right now someone somewhere will be doing a Google Images search for a one-legged dog...
.
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.

Aircast A60 ankle supports - I use one on my left ankle when playing tennis after a bad sprain. Works brilliantly.Originally posted by Fernandinho View PostWhat are they called? Both my ankle ligaments have taken a beating in football and are so weak now... Can they be worn with football boots?

When you injure a joint you really appreciate during rehab how badly you depend on proprioception! Really important in preventing injury. Wobble boards are great for this :notrolfharris:Like blood on iron

And the website tribute linked to is where I picked mine up from as well. They're not cheap, and the material does eventually wear through, but I've had mine a year now, used twice a week, and they're still going strong.
