I preferred what we did today - Suarez off Sturridge in a 4-2-3-1 - than at Arsenal with Suarez very much wide left. Maybe at home Suarez left would work better - at Arsenal he was forced to go so deep at times and Sturridge was left isolated.
It's a nice problem to have but I think we've lost a little bit from Suarez by moving him back a bit.Last edited by Shaggy; 03-02-13, 10:04 PM.Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

I think it makes sense against stronger opposition. I think against weaker sides we will push Suarez further forward like we did against Norwich.Originally posted by Shaggy View PostI preferred what we did today - Suarez off Sturridge in a 4-2-3-1 - than at Arsenal with Suarez very much wide left. Was expecting some headless chicken runs, got none. Just looked intelligent and more skilful than anyone around him all the time. Clichy usually doesn't get done easily by tricky forwards but he didn't have a clue.Originally posted by spider-neil View PostHe was brilliant today, absolutely brilliant.
Gerrard and Suarez have on-pitch respect for him despite him being so young. He must really be impressing in training too.
One tit for another.

I think it's the most wrong I've ever been about a player too. He's already proved he has way more about him than I'd given him credit for. ****ing way more. I thought he had ability but zero game intelligence, head down greedy ****er and an erratic finisher. Christ. He looks seriously impressive, that was a properly brilliant centre forward display today.
