    Another 2 goals. He's a machine

    Only 5 behind Suarez.
    Modifying post.

The way he's hardly ever offside.

Even in the FA Cup game, all 3 chances he spurned were on the brink of staying onside. He's so much better than he gets credit (even now!).
      One tit for another.

I've never seen a player score the same goal so many times in a season. No defence in the league seems to be able to deal with that through ball we play.

It`s weird how the english press doesnt give him the credit he deserves. He is ubelievably consistent..

Well that's because he isn't the typical English striker.
            Are we winning?

I can't see how he can't be seen as the best English striker at the moment. He's so clinical in front of goal

I think he'll finish the season with more goals than Suarez

Only thing he done wrong yesterday was that one point in the second half when he held onto the ball too long...........but I'm not convinced it was him being greedy, unlike say in the derby.
He was trying to engineer it onto his left from the get go, as I don't think the ball to Suarez was really ever on, and to be fair to the Swansea defenders, they did close down the option well, as well as cover Sturridge moving back inside.

Fine game from him, but then he's been a revelation since he joined us....questionable celebration and fashion aside, he's been a model for this new Liverpool and the way Rodgers wants us to play. There is the small downside of Suarez' movement away from the middle in order to accommodate them both , but I honestly don't believe it's a massive issue considering how much Luis moves about, and it's not like they cannot interchange with each other which can causes defences countless worries.

What a signing he's proving to be. But he's no Welbeck.......................apparently.

Even looking back at the Cup game, in which more than a few have pointed out he wasn't the greatest.......he still could have walked out of there with a brace.
We expect him to score from those positions now, which just goes to show how clinical he has been for us.

Only realised that this RvN record he's after of consecutive league goals was actually over two seasons (8 in one, first 2 in the next season), which would only make Sturridge's (if he manages to beat it) all the more impressive.

What a player. I thought he was sensational at times yesterday. His all round play is sensational and he's a hell of a finisher. An all round world class striker.

He needs a song. He deserves a song.

Norbs has nailed it. It's a YouTube classic.

Getting bored of the punditry on him just now. Its always qualified with the statement "with the form he's in right now" - he's been in "that form" for a full calendar year now, so its not some flash in the pan run an average striker might go on, say like your Andy Carroll types - the stats he's accumulated over the last calendar year have gone beyond a decent run. This is the arrival of a world class talent.

He's way ahead of any other english national player and as good as anything we've had at Liverpool. World class.
