So not looking good for Daniel is it. Last played back in early September has missed 5 games for us and not even fit enough for the bench today. He norm takes 4 games at least to settle back in to his groove and rhythm, so hopefully he'll be firing for Madrid unless he goes away with Eng, which we shouldn't let him do in all honesty.
The worry is everyone is relying on him to come back and stay fit till May. Big ask as he's norm injured on avg 3 times a season.
I like Mario and he is the one to rely on instead as he's starting to improve and not injury prone. I wish Dan would sort his body strength out as it's frustrating to constantly have him as a stop start player for us.
Your too good to be true, can't take the ball off you you got a heavenly touch, you pass like Sounness to rush. And when we're pissed in the bars we thank the Lord that your ours
There's no way he should be going away with England but he'll want to so what can you do. If he's fit we can't stop him. A bit of Fergie injury fabrication would be nice but the player has to agree.

Not sure I agree with this. Obviously no player comes straight back at 100% after an injury lay off, but Sturridge seems to find his form a lot quicker than most and often picks up just where he left off, certainly in terms of gaol scoring anyway.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?
Really looking forward to seeing Danny back. Superb striker who I recall was bossing it until Suarez came back from his ban last season, and then had to play second fiddle. I reckon once Danny is back fit we're going to see some special stuff from the main man.
Can we actually rely/depend on Sturridge to stay injury free,i don't think we can and for this reason alone i think we need another striker other than Balotelli to score us the goals...like for example Benzema or Higuain and before someone else mentions his name ok Reus,Oh yeah we have Divoc origi from Lille
Sturridge will never stay injury free for the whole season, so yes, we do need someone with similar quality to replace him, granted that we'll play with two strikers for most PL games. I guess a lot of why we didn't sign 3 strikers this season is due to FFP issues, so it's a process which will happen eventually, just not now.
The plan is to consolidate our CL place for next season and build up. People want everything at the same time. Won't happen.
At least for once we can say an International break is coming at the right time. I
really worry about Sturridge when we rush him back from injury, and he is so badly needed at the moment it would be doubly worrying, but in this case for him pretty much to be ready by the weekend then get an extra fortnight to train and finish healing should be ideal.
Then all we'll have to hope is he gets back to match sharpness quickly... like after 20 minutes on the pitch sort-of quick
I could not dig, I dared not rob:
Therefore I lied to please the mob.
Now all my lies are proved untrue
And I must face the men I slew.
What tale shall serve me here among
Mine angry and defrauded young?
