Not worried about that - the english public voted in favour of Welbeck in a Sky Sports poll. That officially makes it Roy's duty to choose him ahead of Studge

It's funny how absence makes a player appear better.

We've been there a few times already this season with certain players. I'm hoping with Studge it's the real deal. But what I do know is that period two seasons back when he & Couts were magical together in the absence of Suarez. The away performance against Newcastle was the highlight. I'm hoping for big things.

His first touch was excellent. Coutinho's pass was straight at him rather than in front of him so he had to adjust quickly.

He broke down training for us last time. The real problem seems to be about teams (us and England) rushing him back from minor knocks. Same thing when we had Torres.
