Hmmm, the best way to deal with Sturridge is to play two up but I expect Origi to play the lone striker again on Thursday.

Part of me still thinks he is on his way (not what I want but what I think will happen) but if the penny has dropped and he's going to embrace Klopp's 'heavy metal football' then it can only be great news for us.

It was certainly a step in the right direction, but I maintain that I will until the season's end, as he'll have had more games and time to adapt to the very basics of Klopp's methods.

Hopefully, he can show more of the same, as he's an exceptional striker with natural talent. If Sturridge wants to go, then there's nothing we can do, and we should encourage an auction.

He'll be here next season, no way you let a world class player leave.

He had his dancing shoes on yesterday and some of his play and touches were sublime.

We'd struggle big time to replace him so I hope the talk of him leaving is just media driven headline creation.

yep - totally agree in that he can do things that other strikers cant. Its just a matter of time before he finds his full sharpness.

Hopefully he'll adapt to Klopp's style and stay. Maybe a bit of a luxury player (although one this good would be well worth it) but he'd take the pressure off Origi. Plus we're likely to be selling 2 strikers in Benteke and Balotelli so it'd be a good idea to keep him - as well as moving away from being perceived as a club selling its best players, which I think we are in danger of becoming. Adding to him rather than replacing him would make more sense.

We're likely to have quite a few new faces about the place so one more who is familiar with the club could be good to help the players we do need to settle.

Origi, Vardings and Sturridge is not a bad strike force. Unfortunately they're all injury prone.

Sturridge is but is Ings injury prone?

I think I read somewhere his career is littered with big injuries

Or inevitably breaks down again and is out for months and months. He's class but you simply can't trust his physical health.

At a guess I think it's 50/50 whether he's here at the start of next season.

Daniel is the man for me , when he plays we seem so much better at keeping the ball in the front third.

It seems like the opposing team are actually scared of him so gives more space and time for others, just hope he now has some sharpness after being fit for a couple of months

Big time. For some reason, and I haven't seen the stats, but it feels like we don't lose when he plays. He just adds class.
