That pass from Can against Southampton in League Cup has to be one of my all time favourites..
    Was muß, das muß.

Need to decide is it time to cut our losses re:Sturridge
....How many games can the club get out of him in a season?

Sturridge's fitness remains a concern ahead of Sunday's fixture against West Ham.
He remained at Melwood for treatment on his calf injury and so missed out on the 2-day bonding trip.
The hope is Sturridge will make sufficient progress to be able to rejoin the squad on their return from Catalonia tomorrow. (James Pearce)

as good as he and before its time to weigh him in for horsemeat [tesco lasagne] we need to sell him and then get someone more suitable and who will be fit and available.

always thought studge is a cracking player but also a realist and have mentioned a while back that we should consider moving him on while he is still able to stand...

It's highly likely Dembele will be coming here in Jan imo, if so then Storage is offski I reckon.

He is lethal but he is not going to get a starting 11 in this team as he's a lazy cunt who loves himself more than the squad and sadly but rightly, Klopp does not want anyone like that in his team so it's tough **** for him really.
Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."

Went with my kids team to watch Celtic, and basing all my opinions solely on that one performance, Dembele wasn't all that. Origi is far superior.

Exactly what I thought watching it on TV. Dembele's not bad but he's almost exactly like Origi but without the express pace or additional body strength. And Origi will be dropped to the bench as soon as our favoured front four are back in action.

But we all know how Klopp transforms players so I'm all for it if he wants him.

i reckon we would take Dembele if there was a good deal to be done - so if he had a 10m buyout clause or something like that then it might happen. But I don't think Klopp will sanction something like a £25m purchase of him - he will feel that he can get better for that money.

The fact that he wasn't setting the championship alight last season makes me agree with you

He's living on his past reputation at the moment. Scoring some goals might change all that but I think he'll be gone at the end of the season.

                        Get rid ???

I can't believe that attitude, what a player to have on the bench, he's a real class act and would get first team status at most premier clubs.

Okay so he has more than enough injury niggles but when he's on blob he's as good as any striker in the world.

Jurgen hasn't built the team around him and doesn't rely on him as first choice but when needed he has used his talents wisely.

I'm a fan of Sturridge, he's a class act, okay not as reliable as others but well worthy as a back up striker or maybe given the right planet alignments a first choice goal getter

He's our highest earner and he doesn't strike me as the kind of player who will remain content playing backup. Whether we think we should get rid or not, he will leave in the next couple of windows imo.

Bum him off to West Ham for 30m and buy a fit striker from somewhere maybe slightly obscure for 15m sounds like a plan to me.
