No I think he was not suited to the way they set up against United, Daniel is not going to hold the ball up or hunt it down as the single man up top. In a team like Bournemouth or any side which try and play attractive football, there is still a place for him, if and it's a massive if, he can stay fit.

I would practically give him away, he has one year left on his contract, anything over 5 million I would accept. If no bids come in, he still may be useful to have in the squad next year, but I would not be holding out for 20 million for him even 10

I don't think we'd even get a few million for him. If his loan spell at WBA had went well then some club would have been silly enough to spend £10m on him.

Now? We pay up his contract and he leaves on a free in the summer.
