No idea which Willian goal you're referring to but there's no way Sturridge's goal was anything other than an exocet missile into the top corner. No fluke. Certainly not an attempted cross. Perfection.
Last season at Anfield with a few minutes to go. It was a cross that drifted over Mig and into the top corner.

It is a goal that gets better every time you see it, the look up should tell him nothing is on, yet Sturridge sees the postage stamp finish is on.
Nonchalant, audacious, highly skilled. An outrageous goal. It will take some beating.
Really? I remember Willian's cross looping over the keeper in a similar fashion to give them a last minute equaliser.
Similar outcome and similar goal but one of them was intentional.
At least that's how I remember it!
Willian's was floated just inside the back post where Chelsea players were attacking in anticipation of a cross.
Studge's was arrowed at the top corner when no Liverpool player was even in the box.
I don't know what was in Willian's mind to say definitively what his intention was. However there's absolutely no question in my mind Sturridge meant anything other than a shot.
