    League Consistency

    Two wins! Back to back!
But looking ahead, Man U away, Norwich at home, then Arsenal and Man City away.

Do we have it in us to get something from these games?

We tend to play better against the better teams.

We will probably struggle against Norwich more than the Mancs.

8 points from those games would be brilliant.
The times they are a changin'.

I honestly cannot see us getting anything from the Manchester games, much as it pains me to say that. Even Arsenal looks to me a draw at best.

Sods law we end up getting a few decent results there and losing at home to Norwich.

I know where you are coming from Tee but of the 3 big guns there we should have comfortably won both games against the Manc ****e earlier in the season so don't see any reason why we can't get something from the games, as for the Gooners, we were attrocious in the first game so we owe them. I'll be looking for at least 5 points from those 3 games!!

i think defensively even though we have kept two clean sheets we need to tighten up.....8/12 and avoiding defeat would be a morale boosting return

We certainly deserved more from those games and if we can play like we did against both QPR & Sunderland I think they'll struggle to deal with us.

All comes back to us producing that high level of consistency

It's all very well being consistent, the acid test is to do it consistently.
                .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

Indeed, something we've not managed for sustained period of time for the last 3 or 4 years.

We've consistently been unable to be consistent consistently.

Yes, but it's only because we've consistently been consistently inconsistently consistent.

Obviously hope you are right but I just think it will be that much harder away from home as well. If we get 4 points out of those 3 games I would be satisfied, but I think it is a distinct possibility we will get nothing.

The consistency of your posts regarding us being consistently inconsistently consistent is rather inconsistent.

Actually I've consistently said I have a record that consistently shows I have been quite consistently consistent on the consistent issue of consistency and inconsistency as it consistently affects the consistency (or inconsistency) of the consistency of our team selections and playing inconsistencies.

                            Your move.
