You'd hope so and tbh that front 3 has more than enough to cause problems for a lot of teams

      Think he will start Sturridge?

Big game to change the position of Suarez although if he does shift wider he will get the chance to go against Evra much more

I am dreading this one to be fair. Never look forward to it mind.

I think he might well go with Sturridge, get the feeling the lad feels he has something to prove - him, Suarez and Sterling have a lot of pace, guile and movement amongst them which you'd hope will cause them lot's of problems.

Whilst Downing has been playing well of late I do worry he'll go back in his shell in this sort of game.

Yep, but this could be a good chance for him to show he has changed in that respect. If he starts we will find out a lot about the new Downing.

tbh not just him either a number of the players will hav to show their form isn't just for the mid/lower end of the Premier League teams but this lot as well.

Old Trafford has to be a ****ing nightmare to play at though

I have a good feeling about this one, which is unusual really.

Never have a good feeling going to Old Trafford, especially now they have RVP... and seem to be getting results even without playing well.

We've played really well the past few games (second half of the cup game apart).

I think we'll see the players in form FWIW - Lucas, Gerrard & Henderson although we could see Allen in place of Hendo.
you know yourself that shelvey cannot play in the same midfield as gerrard. gerrard needs others to do his running and shelvey needs others to do everything.

Jonjo has huge potential but he has to work a lot harder imo. Thats the least you expect from a young player - even if they're not playing well they should still be enthusiastic and put themselves around. He doesnt do any of that.

Thats why the midfield should be hendo, lucas and gerrard. id be tempted to play allen instead of stevie and move stevie up to the right of the front three. the other two being suarez and downing.

if we dominate their midfield, it will stifle their game.

Looking forward to seeing Sterling-Sturridge-Suarez up top. Lot of movement and pace

                            352, like someone mentioned before,

                            ...........Reina
                            .....Škrtel-Carra-Agger
                            Johnson.................Downing
                            ........Lucas-Hendo
                            ..........Gerrard
                            .....Sturridge-Suarez

we'd absolutely demolish then with that lineup. i'm actually quite confident in a good result, even if webb's the ref.

RVP would have a field day against Carra. No way should he be near the team on Sunday IMO.

I was thinking he'll bring Sturridge on in the second half, the team dynamic has been playing well so seeing as it's man'ure see how it goes and bring him for some much needed pace and freshness?
