I think we will line up like this:

Downing will offer more protection to Wisdom than say Sturridge. The most important is that we dominate the midfield - then the rest will come. You never know what midfield Demento is start with, but if he has a brain fart and picks Scholes and Giggs then they will be asking for trouble. But he will probably go with Carrick and Cleverly.

I wouldn't be surprised if BR plays with 4 mids and drop Downing in favor of Allen.

Would love to see Sturridge start with Suarez and Sterling as he has enough pace and his movement can really stretch ManU defence but he is not match fit and likely will be on the bench.

Worry about this one as MUFC are loaded upfront.

I don't understand why they made this decision. Surely everyone who makes the decisions to assign refs to matches knows the controversy surrounding Howard Webb when Man United and Liverpool are concerned. Maybe the bollocks conspiracy theories are all true but you'd think they'd at least like to spare themselves the melodrama and just pick somebody else?

It's such an infuriating situation. It makes us all sound ridiculous when we claim that the FA has a pro-United agenda but I just can't see how it's not true. So many things have gone in their favour for years... as long as I can remember.

He gets to ref us because we have never made an issue of his previous employment in SYP with either the FA or the PGMOL.

It's a clear conflict of interest yet it won't be treated as one until we make a song and dance about It.

That said, he has given us a penalty this year for an offence that's routinely ignore by all res in mist games so maybe, just maybe he's softening his stance after all that has gone on last year regarding Hillsborough, he may not want to be seen to be giving poor decisions against us anymore in case he's pulled on it.
